Your Jebel Shams adventure starts here.

This weekend is an absolute Blast!
Gone are long and hot days, we are heading for an adventure in the cool mountains of Jebel Shams. This experience is not to be missed.
The adventure is open to everyone, no previous experience or special fitness level required, just a head for adventure and an open mind.
twenty3 extreme team will get climbing the top of Jebel Shams, abseiling down and explore an untouched cave and swimming and jumping into cool pools water in our secret canyon. We promise lots of fun and an awesome company to spend your evenings by the bonfire with. Choose between 3,2 or 1-day adventures to suit your schedule.

Day 1 – Jebel Shams Via Ferrata

This is one of the safest adventures on offer, but your heart will definitely skip a beat as you find yourself climbing up a sheer rock face some 1,900m off the ground. Don't worry, you are securely clipped on to a steel cable, just relax and enjoy the views.

Day 2 – The Cave Explorer

This is a real cave exploration. There are no lights or staircases, just the light from your head torch, huge boulders to scale as you trek through the cave and an underground lake you can take a dip in.

Day 3 - Canyoning

This is one of our favourite days. Descend through a natural obstacle course full of abseils, swims, slides and jumps to safely exit the canyon at the bottom. A perfect way to keep cool and have fun on a hot sunny day.

Where

Enjoy cooler temperatures and stunning views on top and around Jebel Shams, the highest mountain in Oman. You can drive to the start point from central Muscat and Al Ain border in about 3 hours. You would need a 4-wheel drive to reach there.

When

On the first day we aim to start the trek up on Jebel Shams by noon to finish the climb by sunset and will be busy on adventures for the next two days. We will be finishing by 2 pm on Sunday, to allow enough time for a relaxed drive home..
